Restrooms, Changing Clothes, and Privacy at Camp
- We have a private composting toilet house where kids can use the restroom.
- We also teach and encourage kids to learn to pee in the woods. This is done by having female staff teach a group of girls at a time (while all fully clothed) with emphasis on finding a private spot away from the group and how to avoid getting pee on yourself. These are outdoor skills that can be taught at home before coming to camp.
- There are 2 private stalls for changing clothes in if that is needed. For example, changing into swimsuits for water play or changing out of muddy clothes. These stalls also have full length mirrors for tick checks.
