The Rompin' Foxes
An outdoor program for kids ages 10-12

A step up from our younger kids program, Rompin'
Foxes is geared towards older kids and meets about
every two weeks. This program will provide kids with
some great outdoor time where they can play and learn
about the natural world. Activities, games, projects,
stories, and adventures await.
Our Curriculum Includes:

  • Survival Skills: shelter, fire, water, and
    food in the wild
  • Navigation & Lost Proofing
  • Naturalist Studies
  • Games
  • Storytelling
  • Journaling, Mapping, and Drawing
  • Expeditions into the nature preserve
  • And more!!!

For: boys and girls ages 10-12

Day/Time: Fridays from 9am-12pm, 3-month session for $125 (6 dates)

2011/12 Winter Session:
December 2nd, 16th
January 6th, 20th
February 3rd and 17th

2012 Spring Session:
March 2nd, 23rd
April 13th, 27th
May 4th, 25th


Gear List:
  • Journal (at least 5"x7") and pencil
  • Water or drink
  • Snacks if necessary
  • Clothing appropriate for being outdoors in the weather
  • Backpack to carry everything in
  • Warm wool socks on cold days
  • *Beware of rubber boots as many are not insulated
